One Ribbon, Two Fortunes, Twenty Years of Staying True
– In 2001, in a small workshop in Wenzhou, Southern China, my journey with ribbons and cords began.
Back then, there was no grand vision. Just a simple desire: to make every polyester ribbon, every carry handle, every waxed cord well. This modest thought carried us through more than twenty years. From one machine and a few workers to serving clients across Southeast Asia, Europe, America, Japan, and Korea — time has given us the best answer.
– 2024 was a year of blessings.
That year, we took a significant step forward: we expanded overseas and established our first trading company in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. For someone who had spent over two decades in manufacturing, this was a brand new beginning. This fortune, I owe to the times we live in, and to every client who has trusted us along the way.
That same year, we successfully registered our own brand — Mei Ya Ou in Hong Kong. This was my second fortune. From a small Wenzhou workshop to owning our own brand — this step took us more than twenty years.
– 2025 brought continued blessings, and with them, greater responsibility.
This year, (Hong Kong) Europe America and Asia Limited was officially established. We now have our own office in Hong Kong, our own warehouse, and a team working side by side. Standing here, looking back on the journey, my heart is filled with gratitude.
– Today, the products we’ve been making for over two decades — polyester ribbons, packaging carry handles, handcrafted waxed cords, garment cords — continue to depart from Wenzhou, pass through Hong Kong, and reach every corner of the world.
For the road ahead, I hope to use the experience gained over these twenty-plus years, and the strength brought by these two fortunes, to serve everyone who needs my products.
